Hi, I’m Margerae Jackson, a licensed clinician with over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults across psychiatric, outpatient, and correctional settings.
My work has included providing individual, group, and family therapy for youth ages 5–17, as well as supporting individuals within incarcerated and high-acuity environments. Through thousands of sessions, I’ve walked closely with those navigating deep-rooted behavioral and emotional challenges.
I built S.H.E Is Uprootedfrom the front lines after witnessing, time and time again, programs that focused on behavior… while the identity beneath it remained broken.
Over time, a pattern became clear:
when identity isn’t restored, behavior always returns.
What I also recognized is this true transformation doesn’t happen through effort alone.
It happens through renewal, healing, and truth rooted in The Bible.
